Garden by Design Inc. offers a complete landscape design and build service. It is our belief that design and implementation should go hand in hand. The designer plays an essential role at each stage in the project from the initial meeting, to design development, to management of the implementation. Nothing is left to chance.

Design

Each project begins with a design process. Following the initial meeting the designer will draft a proposal that outlines the scope of the design. Designs range from masterplans for an entire property to designs for specific areas.

The initial stage in the design phase involves a detailed study of the present conditions of the site. Your property is measured, photographed and assessments made of the light, soil, and drainage conditions. A base map of the existing conditions is established that serves as the foundation on which any proposed design ideas are structured.

Meetings are scheduled with you during the design development to review the proposed ideas, discuss budget considerations and identify any areas where adjustments may need to be made.

Implementation

With the final plan established we are able to put together the proposal for implementation. Designs may be implemented either in their entirety or, in the case of more comprehensive masterplans, they may be completed in phases.

Garden by Design manages all aspects of the implementation. We arrange and coordinate the completion of each element of the project from site preparation to construction and planting. We perform the initial site layout and supervise each step in the implementation process to ensure outstanding results.
